Responsibilities
Define and lead the long-term technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for our platform, with a keen focus on infrastructure, integrations, and scalable systems
Make high-stakes architectural decisions that ensure performance, maintainability, and extensibility
Maintain strong technical acumen through hands-on contribution as a full-stack engineer when appropriate
Collaborate deeply with Product, Design, and Operations teams to deliver features that delight users and create measurable business impact
Act as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team, contributing to overall company strategy and translating business goals into engineering objectives
Drive innovation with an eye toward emerging technologies, data systems, and AI-powered personalization capabilities
Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent, building a high-performance team that reflects our values and culture
Cultivate a culture of ownership, inclusion, continuous learning, and healthy feedback loops
Create and scale processes for sprint planning, delivery, QA, incident response, and code quality
Manage engineering resources efficiently to meet delivery goals while ensuring technical excellence
Implement and track engineering KPIs to assess productivity, velocity, and system health
Foster an environment where technical debt is routinely addressed and platform health is maintained proactively
Qualification
Required
10+ years experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
Proven ability to lead and scale full-stack engineering organizations through high-growth phases
Deep technical background in modern web technologies, APIs, integrations, infrastructure, and cloud platforms
Demonstrated experience aligning engineering strategy with product vision and business growth
Strong interpersonal skills and experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
A track record of building collaborative, mission-driven teams that ship high-quality software
Preferred
Experience working in healthcare, fintech, or regulated industries
Exposure to AI/ML integration in product environments
Strong instincts for balancing innovation with iterative delivery and system stability
