Responsibilities
Perform investigations, surveys, and testing of existing buildings to identify and diagnose deficiencies contributing to damage or deterioration
Critically analyze plans, specifications, and calculations prepared by others
Monitor progress of projects, adherence to project requirements, and closely track budget and procedural standards
Perform or review condition appraisals, develop repair schemes and repair recommendations
Complete and maintain all project documentation in project management software
Manage multiple projects and teams, including engineers and technical personnel
Maintain, market, and promote restoration and forensic engineering consulting services to new and existing clients
Assist with training less experienced staff in a variety of roles
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or similar
Professional license in architecture, structural engineering, or civil engineering
7+ years of experience working and/or managing projects in the forensic and/or restoration fields
Strong writing, communication, and team skills
Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships
Willingness to travel
