Qualification
Required
8+ years of total experience with software development/ programming experience with at least one object oriented coding language such as Java, C++, C#, Javascript, Go, etc
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, & algorithm design, etc Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drive
Experienced in building highly-available and scalable distributed services
Experienced with microservice design patterns
Exhibits behaviors consistent with OCI values
Preferred
8-12+ years' experience designing, developing, and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems
Strong C, C++, or Java knowledge and experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc
Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals, and cloud-native development
Working familiarity with operating systems internals, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure, a strong plus

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
