Responsibilities

Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on insurance coverage matters

Draft coverage opinion and coverage position letters

Draft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategy

Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on a variety of subjects

Communicate with clients and draft reports to clients

Qualification

JD from accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in TexasDefense litigation experienceInsurance coverage experienceAnalytical skillsResearch skillsWritten communication skillsOral communication skills

Required

JD from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice in the State of Texas

Superior analytical and research skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred

2+ years of defense litigation preferred

Experience with litigation involving general liability, construction, premises, products, transportation preferred

Insurance Coverage experience such as coverage opinions is a plus

Coverage analysis and writing experience is a plus
