APDs provide zealous advocacy to persons accused of crimes in Harris County, Texas for the purpose of trying to secure a client's release on a personal bond or affordable cash bond
APDs may also challenge the probable cause justifying a client's arrest
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
Ability to advocate on the client's behalf
Familiar with developments in criminal law
Good organization, time management, and the ability to work well with others
Preferred
Spanish-speaking preferred but not necessary
