Electrical Project Manager

Responsibilities

Manage mid-sized projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Act as the primary contact for customer communication during project execution
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and budgets
Perform estimating tasks and input information into the quoting system
Oversee key project tasks and assign responsibilities to team members
Generate detailed reports on project status and metrics for stakeholders
Maintain project schedules, risk logs, and all other required documentation
Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct audits and address issues as needed
Integrate sustainable practices into project planning and execution
Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Work closely with customers, contractors, and engineers to resolve challenges
Foster teamwork and maintain alignment on project goals
Flexibility to perform other assigned tasks to support the overall business objectives

Qualification

Electrical Drawings InterpretationNEC Standards KnowledgeProject ManagementMicrosoft OfficeProject Management SoftwareOSHA Regulations KnowledgeProject EstimatingPMP CertificationTeam Collaboration

Required

2-4 years of experience in project management or coordination
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Knowledge of NEC standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance
Experience in project estimating and familiarity with quoting and takeoff processes

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred
Experience working on projects that involve cross-functional teams
Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent are a plus
