Senior Architect

They are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Architect to lead architectural design and provide strategic oversight to projects while driving business development and management efforts.

Responsibilities
Lead architectural design efforts for complex projects, ensuring high-quality design solutions that align with client needs and project goals
Manage project teams through all phases of design, including conceptualization, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and on-budget delivery
Coordinate with other design professionals, contractors, and consultants to ensure cohesive project execution
Supervise and mentor junior architects, design staff, and technical teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and professional development
Develop and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency
Manage project workflows, ensuring that design standards, quality control processes, and client expectations are consistently met
Cultivate strong relationships with municipal clients, private developers, and key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored architectural solutions
Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Lead client presentations and meetings, effectively communicating design concepts, progress, and recommendations
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the expansion of MRB Group’s portfolio by cultivating relationships with potential clients and partners
Prepare and present proposals, qualifications, and presentations to prospective clients
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies for business growth, including marketing initiatives and competitive positioning
Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new areas for growth and innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
Registered Architect with a minimum of 8-10 post-licensure years of professional experience, including substantial experience working with municipal clients and private developers
12-15 years of total proven professional experience in architecture, with a focus on working with municipal clients and private sector developers preferred
Proven experience in managing large-scale architectural projects from concept to completion
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams through all phases of design and project delivery
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, consultants, and internal teams effectively
Solid understanding of municipal processes, zoning, permitting, and regulations
Business development experience with a track record of successfully securing new projects and building client relationships
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp; familiarity with other design tools is a plus
Project management experience; industry recognized Project Management certification(s), a plus
Preferred
12-15 years of total proven professional experience in architecture, with a focus on working with municipal clients and private sector developers preferred
LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications is desirable
