Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Develop tools that enable managing hundreds of Kubernetes clusters and millions of cloud resources
Ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of platform offerings
Bootstrap and lead critical infrastructure initiatives and projects, directly influencing the architectural direction and operational excellence of the entire engineering organization
Shape engineering culture; set and maintain software engineering standards; mentor and coach engineers
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional experience
Real-world experience operating highly available services in Kubernetes
Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD
Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture
Deep expertise in at least one core domain (cloud, Kubernetes, DevEx, security, observability) with working knowledge of at least two additional domains sufficient to engage in technical discussions and cross-functional collaboration
Track record of independently owning large problem spaces with ambiguity
Evidence of improving efficiency or quality across more than one team
Preferred
Experience operating Kubernetes clusters is a strong plus
Experience extending Kubernetes (e.g., writing operators) is a strong plus
