Responsibilities
Make key technical decisions and implement large software projects to help Motion scale the next 2 orders of magnitude
Work on Motion's highest impact projects and have ownership over major parts of the product code
Take ownership of projects and lead them to completion while dealing with ambiguity and finding the right balance between speed and quality
Familiarize yourself with a complex product and code base
Collaborate effectively with other talented engineers and work well in an environment where the best ideas win
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in software engineering
Ability to make key technical decisions
Experience implementing large software projects
Ambitious and always looking for ways to improve
Ability to take ownership of projects and lead them to completion
Ability to deal with ambiguity and find the right balance between speed and quality
Fast learner who can quickly familiarize with a complex product and code base
Strong understanding of how to create the most impact
Ability to collaborate effectively with other talented engineers
Preferred
Familiarity with the Javascript ecosystem
Experience with Typescript, Node.js, React, React Query, Nest.js, Postgres, Temporal
