Sales Development Representative (Houston)
Ankr Health is a company that uses AI and telemedicine to automate side effect management in cancer and surgical clinics. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to play a critical role in generating and qualifying leads, building relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the overall sales pipeline.

Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Work with BD team to identify and research potential clients and markets to uncover new business opportunities
Outreach: Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other communication channels
Trade shows, and industry conferences: Identify and plan trade shows and conferences relevant to our domain. Plan team members’ participation and assist with arrangements/on-site support as appropriate
Qualification: Conduct in-depth needs assessments to determine the suitability of leads and understand their specific requirements
Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our products/services and effectively communicate their value propositions to prospects
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and leads in our CRM system (Salesforce)
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to seamlessly transition qualified leads, providing essential context for successful follow-up
Reporting: Regularly provide reports and updates on lead generation and conversion metrics to the management team
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities
Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our business network and establish strategic partnerships
Contract renewals: Proactively engage with customers to ensure their contracts are renewed in a timely manner and per targets identified by the Company
Qualification
Required
Degree+ work experience: MBA + 5 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree + 7 to 10 years of sales experience
Sold a healthcare product
Able to travel within USA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong interest in sales with the ability to quickly learn and apply effective sales techniques
Familiarity with lead gen tools (Apollo.io or similar), Salesforce CRM software and proficiency in using various sales tools
Demonstrated ability to handle rejection with resilience and maintain a positive attitude
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
A collaborative mindset with the capability to work harmoniously with cross-functional teams
Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and changing customer preferences
Proactive and self-driven approach to achieving targets and goals
