Sales Development Representative

Tractian is a leading company in machine intelligence and industrial monitoring systems, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and identifying new customers, partnering with Account Executives to understand customer needs, and contributing to the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives
Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities
Perform the initial contact, by phone and email, with our potential customers, who arrive through Marketing or through our active prospecting tools
Develop and improve our coldmail, strategies with maximum attention to details that may impact the interest of knowing our product
Update all information in our CRM and perform constant follow-up of customers
Have a direct relationship with the product team to qualify the customer according to their pains and needs
Give support to the closing team after the lead is qualified

Qualification

Prospecting sales experienceClient engagement

Required

1+ years of experience in a prospecting sales role OR a driven and eager-to-learn new grad who thrives in fast-paced, constantly-changing environments
The ability to proactively engage new clients through email and phone
Excellent listening and communication skills (written, on the phone, and in-person) and are comfortable speaking to anyone
Attention to detail, follow-up, and time management as well as strong planning and organization skills
