Troon is a golf management company that serves golf courses and specializes in residence clubs and associated hospitality venues. Bill Wright Golf Complex is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Professional who will provide superior service in a hospitality environment while assisting in various operational and administrative tasks related to the golf course and shop.

Responsibilities

Assists in administering all point-of-sale application revisions and needs as they apply to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing. Coordinates with Accounting Departments on all policy and procedure revisions, updates, and implementation

Reconciles daily tee sheets, performs check-in, and receives payments from members and guests. Resolves discrepancies as they apply to duplicate charges and over- or underpayment. Tracks all force posts and no-show charges as applicable

Promotes all club golf activities

Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop. Assists retail buyers with procurement and merchandise and shop assistants with merchandising and sales

Assists in preparation for all golf outings, men's club, and ladies' club, including coordinating scorecards, cart labels, rules sheets, score sheets, format sheets, favors, pairing sheets, scoring, payouts, and hole assignments

Assists with the monthly inventory process

Assists in outside event coordination for the golf course and driving range

Assists with associate training

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance

Regular and reliable attendance

Club fitting when applicable

Private instruction opportunities with limitations

Qualification

PGA level 1 AssociateMicrosoft OfficeComputerized POS systemsTee time systemsGolf Genius operationsClub fitting knowledgeInstruction experience

Required

PGA level 1 Associate or higher

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Experience with computerized POS and tee time systems
