Responsibilities
Play a lead role in the design of major Transportation projects
Utilize your technical expertise to design roadway geometry, compute design calculations, and prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Apply your management skills to lead a team of graduate engineers and technicians to deliver projects
Resolve design issues with proactive and innovative solutions
Check design work per Alliant’s Design Quality Management Plan
Engage in professional development activities to grow your client network
Assist with the preparation of work scopes, budgets, and schedules
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer
4+ years of highway design experience
Strong working technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Technical expertise using Microstation and GEOPAK on transportation projects
