The People & Culture Generalist is responsible for supporting the HR department by managing various HR administrative functions, ensuring a positive employee experience, and maintaining compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, answering general HR-related questions regarding I-9 documentation, leaves of absence (LOA), benefits, payroll, system access, and badge replacements
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, document processing, and maintaining HR records
Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed efficiently
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations
Support employee engagement initiatives by coordinating HR-related events
Assist in monitoring HR compliance, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to labor laws, company policies, and best practices
Handle basic employee relations matters by addressing inquiries and escalating concerns to HR leadership when necessary
Support LOA tracking and administration, ensuring timely communication and proper documentation
Partner with HR team members to enhance internal processes and improve the employee experience
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements, including I-9 verification and LOA policies
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced setting
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling employee concerns
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
3+ years of experience in an administrative or HR support role, preferably within a fast-paced environment
