RS&H is a leading architecture, engineering, and consulting firm seeking an Architectural Associate I to join their team in Merritt Island. The role focuses on supporting senior architects, editing specifications, researching products, and gaining foundational knowledge in architecture.

Editing specs

Researching products

Developing notes and details on drawings

Creating documentation for graphics

Attending meetings

Shadowing senior architects

Learning about building codes, zoning laws, and fire regulations

Assisting with design sketching

Preparing drawings, visualization aids, and other presentations

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in architectureAutodesk RevitInternship experienceBuilding codesTeamwork

Required

Bachelor's degree in architecture from an NAAB-accredited program

Eligible for the Architect Registration Exam (ARE)

Excited about design and have the desire to keep learning

Ability to complete basic pre-design and design tasks primarily using the latest version of Autodesk Revit software

Ready to assist with design sketching, conceptual analyses, and preparing drawings, visualization aids, and other presentations

Willing to learn how state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances directly affect our work while staying current on changes
