They are currently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a Civil Rights and Commercial Litigation Partner, responsible for drafting legal documents, filing court documents, and maintaining a high-volume caseload while ensuring compliance with court dates and deadlines.

Consulting

Responsibilities

Draft legal documents, including discovery demands, PC requests, RJIs, motions, stipulations, subpoenas, notices, and post-judgment filings
Format briefs and prepare exhibit books
Perform OCR (Optical Character Recognition) on legal documents
File court documents, including e-filing in state and federal courts (NYSCEF and ECF)
Track court dates and deadlines to ensure compliance
Maintain a high-volume caseload with excellent organization and attention to detail
Utilize MS Office (Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, ProLaw, and timekeeping software
Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and support staff

Required

Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience
Excellent client service and problem-solving skills
Ability to anticipate needs and proactively manage workload
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work well under pressure and handle competing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels

Preferred

Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
