Responsibilities

Assure multi-site implementation of company safety policies and procedures with respect to employee health and safety, occupational safety and health regulatory compliance, and environmental compliance

Provide accurate technical guidance on health and safety issues

Conduct routine internal safety audits

Conduct accident investigations with results focusing on root causes and corrective actions

Ensure safe procedures are developed and implemented for new equipment and newer technologies such as robotics, lasers, radiation, and other hazardous processes

Conduct or coordinate effective dissemination of safety initiatives through direct training including required compliance training, technical training, and new employee orientation/readiness training

Serve at lead for safety improvements and Safety Team for each Site

Required

Experience in safety engineering or a related field

Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulatory compliance

Ability to conduct internal safety audits

Experience in conducting accident investigations

Ability to develop and implement safe procedures for new equipment and technologies

Experience in conducting safety training and orientation programs

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

Experience with robotics, lasers, radiation, and other hazardous processes

Leadership experience in safety initiatives

Certification in safety management or related field
