Responsibilities

Project Engineer will be responsible for providing technical analysis of large watershed engineering projects or a number of smaller projects with many complex drainage features
Produce hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and reports with knowledge of municipal and federal requirements
Use standard and advanced modeling techniques, theory, and practices in hydrology and hydraulics related disciplines
Project Engineer may interact with the Client (internal and external) and must have good communication skills
Knowledge of and participate in the development of construction cost estimates, design plans, and specifications

Required

Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas
4+ years' experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, detention design, FEMA Letters of Map Revisions, and Floodplain Fill Mitigation Plans
Proficient in commonly used hydrologic and hydraulic software such as HEC-RAS (steady, Unsteady, and/or 2D), HEC-HMS, InfoWorks ICM, XP-SWMM, and/or ICPR4 (Stormwise)
Strong communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships

Preferred

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) a plus
Working knowledge of GIS is a plus
