Responsibilities

Troubleshoots basic equipment issues in production environment

Troubleshoot and or repair basic hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components

Provides support in areas of fabrication, assembly, welding, and machining

Assemble and debug modified and custom designed equipment, dies, and fixtures independently with engineering supervision

Work from oral and written instructions

Maintains adherence to company policy, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices

Understanding of engineering drawings

Assumes other duties as assigned by leadership

Diagnose equipment issues

Performs repairs on equipment independently with engineering supervision

Assist engineering and maintenance in the debugging of simple custom designed equipment

Performs fabrication, assembly, welding, machining, and grinding operations

Required

High school graduate or equivalent

Have basic machinist tools

Work from oral and written instructions

Skilled in sheet metal fabrication

4 Years minimum machine shop experience
