Responsibilities

Manage and maintain servers (Windows and Linux)

Oversee virtualization technologies (Azure, Azure Stack HCI, Azure Local, VMware)

Utilize Azure Cloud Technologies (Azure Arc, Azure Virtual Desktops)

Implement and manage storage technologies (NAS, SAN, Disks)

Utilize Azure Files for storage solutions

Manage backup solutions

Support collaboration tools such as Teams, Exchange (Email), SharePoint, and Zoom

Required

5+ years of experience in infrastructure administration or a similar role

Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Strong knowledge of modern hybrid infrastructure technologies (Azure Stack HCI, Azure Local)

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Solid understanding of system administration, including Linux and Windows servers

Familiarity with storage management solutions and best practices (NAS, SAN)

Experience in backup and recovery planning and execution

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Basic understanding of networking principles to assist with incident troubleshooting

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert)

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible)

Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)

Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams

Preferred

Basic networking knowledge preferred

Manage DHCP and certificate management preferred

Proficiency in PowerShell and Terraform or Bicep preferred

Experience overseeing patch management preferred

Strong documentation skills
