Responsibilities
Lead capital projects from concept through execution, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery
Manage large-scale site expansions, facility upgrades, and new equipment installations
Develop and control project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking for capital initiatives
Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Leadership teams to align project execution with production needs
Review drawings, specifications, contractor proposals, and scopes of work
Oversee contractor selection, bid reviews, and contract administration
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and drive resolution of cost, schedule, and execution issues
Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and operational standards
Provide regular project updates to leadership and key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred)
Strong experience managing capital projects in manufacturing environments
Proven success delivering large, complex projects involving facilities, infrastructure, or production equipment
Background in consumer products or high-speed manufacturing required
Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and project execution
Comfortable working cross-functionally in an active manufacturing environment
Preferred
Paper, printing, or packaging industry experience preferred but not required
Prior experience working with or managing general contractors or construction managers highly preferred
