Senior Applications Engineer
Calvary Robotics provides custom automation engineering solutions for a wide range of industries, and they are seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to lead strategic applications efforts. This role involves providing technical solutions, developing cost estimates, and maintaining relationships with customers while leading other engineers in their efforts.

Responsibilities
Provides technical solutions for various customer specific automation applications
Develop & represent working mechanical and controls solutions in electronic format (AutoCAD, SW, Rendering/Animations)
Develop detailed labor and material cost estimates for the proposed automation solution
Provides comprehensive and detailed written descriptions of the technical and commercial aspects of the proposed equipment
Establish time & sequence charts of all motion-based assembly and test tasks
Possess strong working knowledge of the assembly & test automation technologies in the medical device, electronic, automotive, consumer product and health care industry
Work cohesively with Account Management in the development and promotion of automation solutions
Be available for periodic overnight travel (domestic and global)
Interface with design, manufacturing engineering, and production personnel to develop solutions and ensure implementation
Support and lead in a seamless and complete transfer of technical and commercial information from Sales & Applications to Project Management and Engineering following the receipt of purchase orders
Focus on demonstrating and incorporating key Calvary initiatives and standards within daily work of developing system solutions
Implement Calvary values and business principles and promote Calvary’s capabilities
Support continuous improvement activities within applications
Support engineering in assigned project related activities
Support in performing peer concept reviews, cost reviews, and proposal reviews
Support management in opportunity qualification and strategic applications planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, and/or other degrees
In addition to or exclusive and demonstrated applicable industry experience
8+ years' experience in automation, machining building, manufacturing, or robotics
Concept abilities and Optimization
Costing and Risk awareness
Engineering drawings review and analysis
