Responsibilities
Design HVAC and plumbing systems based on project scope and client RFPs across various markets
Perform load/energy calculations using tools like Trace 700 or IES
Conduct building surveys and develop system design calculations and equipment selections
Prepare specifications, design documents, reports, and ensure code compliance
Coordinate with other disciplines and provide construction administration and QA/QC
Lead project teams, mentor junior engineers, and serve as client liaison
Support business development through client engagement and proposal participation
Qualification
Required
You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
You possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license
You have a minimum 5 years design experience
You have knowledge in the design of HVAC & plumbing systems
You have knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
You have an excellent work ethic and attitude
Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
Ability to lead a team and work as a team
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office
Ability to travel
