Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data models, ETL pipelines, and data structures to support analytics and machine learning initiatives

Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and migration scripts

Cleanse, process, and verify the integrity of data used in analytical and operational use cases

Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for building advanced analytics solutions

Conduct ad-hoc data analyses and build user-friendly reports and dashboards using visualization tools

Implement automated anomaly detection systems and monitor their ongoing performance

Collaborate with data scientists, data modelers, and other engineers to support project goals

Provide technical leadership and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle—from design to deployment

Required

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Bachelor's Degree Required

4+ years of relevant data engineering experience

Must reside in the DC Metro area and be available for regularly scheduled on-site meetings

Hands-on experience with data engineering tools such as Hadoop, Cloudera, and Apache Spark

Proficiency with AWS services including EMR Studio

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and version control workflows

Experience working with or maintaining an Analytics Repository

Collaborate with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into data science projects

Preferred

ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance is PREFERRED

Master's Degree Preferred
