Required
1 year of hands-on industry experience developing deep learning systems: training (and finetuning) models, designing model architectures, researching/experimenting with new ideas, defining and creating metrics, building datasets and performing error triages
Deep understanding of Generative AI techniques/literature and proven track record of training (or deploying) LLMs/MLLMs to solve complex problems
Proficiency in Python and one of the deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch, JAX, or Tensorflow)
Excellent communication: strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Preferred
PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated experience with building AI agents, LLMs for tool use, and Multimodal-LLMs
Experience using one or more of the following: Reinforcement learning, Distillation, RLHF fine-tuning, RAG/VectorDB, LLM uncertainty quantification
Experience developing, shipping and improving machine learning models in a production environment or a solid publication record in top-tier conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ICRA etc
