Responsibilities

Manages, mentors and guides a team responsible for Learning Management System (LMS) administration, governance and instructional design
Leads and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the LMS and learning technology function, ensuring optimal performance, user engagement, and content effectiveness
Develops and implements strategies to optimize the LMS, ensuring governance and compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational training requirements
Aligns educational technology initiatives, including emerging technologies like AI, with organizational and HR objectives
Streamlines and automates LMS processes, using sophisticated technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks
Establishes standard methodologies, standardized workflows, access control, administrator management, audits and governance to optimize LMS operations, service delivery and risk mitigation
Supervises the design and execution of tech-driven learning programs, ensuring seamless integration and scalability for learners and administrators
Manages the execution of new employee orientation, including course assignment, tracking and reporting of required compliance education. Partners with the Manager of Talent Programs to ensure alignment with organizational onboarding
Stays updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending tools and practices to enhance learning experiences and improve efficiency
Leads organizational change efforts for the adoption and integration of new learning technologies, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption
Partners with HR leadership and executive collaborators to lead and manage the implementation of organizational and leadership effectiveness projects, incorporating technology solutions
Scopes, contracts, designs, delivers, evaluates and manages learning technology and infrastructure requests and projects aligned with strategic business objectives, making valuable contributions for the broader healthcare organization
Partners with collaborators such as HR, IT, executives, operational and clinical leadership and project resources to assess educational needs, align learning technologies with business goals, and complete the implementation of project plans
Develops key learning and talent metrics to measure the efficiency of programs and learning solutions

Qualification

Required

Eight (8) plus years of experience in education technology, technology management, curriculum development and learning management
Three (3) plus years of experience in implementation and management of cloud-based learning platforms and innovative learning solutions. Including, eLearning software and leading learning industry tools & design standards. (e.g. SCORM)
Experience managing a team, including leading cross-functional teams and large-scale learning projects applying learning technology
Solid grasp with using LMS for reporting, data analytics and presenting actionable insights and recommendations
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
