Transportation Engineer I
Ardurra is seeking a Transportation Engineer I to join their team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will assist Project Engineers in the design and development of roadway and highway construction plans while working under the supervision of experienced professionals on projects that enhance community quality of life.

Responsibilities
Assist Project Engineers in the design and development of roadway and highway construction contract plans using the latest CADD software, including MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer
Assist in the identification of construction pay items and computation of quantities and opinions of costs
Assist in the preparation of construction specifications and specification packages
Develop and analyze feasible design alternatives comparing parameters, such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements, impacts on existing utilities, constructability, and construction cost
Perform standard computations and analysis and research assignments
Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members
Prepare letters, memorandums, reports, spreadsheets, power point presentations, and project schedules
Document design decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Engineer Intern Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months from date of hire
0-2 years of experience
Preferred
Some experience with CADD software
