Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and deploy scalable solutions such as authorization and security systems tailored to cloud-native environments
Build and maintain security tooling and infrastructure specifically optimized for Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
Design and implement CoreWeave’s PKI infrastructure, service mesh authentication, and authorization mechanisms (SPIFFE/SPIRE/OPA infrastructure), k8s security components (such as Admission Controllers), and other security software
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify security requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable security features and software
Mentor engineers and champion best practices in security-focused software development
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on security-focused software solutions
Deep experience building authorization systems, security controls, and services
Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Go, Python)
Expertise in container security, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure
Preferred
Experience managing and scaling Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), SPIFFE/SPIRE or OPA
Familiarity with zero-trust architecture and related technologies
Knowledge of firmware-level security, including technologies such as UEFI Secure Boot, Intel TXT/AMD SEV, and emerging standards like Caliptra
