Responsibilities
Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and understanding of tool design concepts, estimates, and span times
Experience with metrology equipment, such as laser trackers, portable arms, and laser radar, and measurement software, preferably Spatial Analyzer
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong data collection and statistical skills
Develop and document best practices to support manufacturing technology process improvements
Analyze engineering models, GD&T intent, and laser inspection results while solving complex manufacturing challenges
Manage daily metrology workflows to enhance efficiency and resource utilization
Perform precision measurements using portable metrology systems and maintain accurate inspection records
Assist with test plans, capability assessments, and the introduction of innovative inspection technologies
Qualification
Required

1-3 years of experience in Metrology, Methods, Material Planning, or related area
Knowledge of Project Management principles
Broad knowledge and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Ability to coordinate, control and maintain tooling-related activities and metrology activities
Understanding of tool design concepts, tool design estimates and turnaround times
Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts
Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious
Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into the final product
Serve as organization spokesperson on advanced projects
Act as advisor to management and customers providing technical assistance to obtain the desired results
Focus on planning and organizing a project and its resources, including identifying and managing the lifecycle to be used, applying it to the user-centered design process, formulating the project team, and efficiently guiding the team through all phases until project completion
