Responsibilities
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle
Conduct threat modeling, security architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews for new product development. Perform penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and security assessments of product features and systems
Develop and implement security automation tools to test and monitor code and software for vulnerabilities
Define and maintain secure coding standards and procedures for cloud and Kubernetes-based environments
Proactively identify and mitigate risks in user-facing flows and critical infrastructure
Drive security education, training, and mentorship to foster a culture of security awareness across teams
Identify and manage security vulnerabilities, ensuring they are documented, prioritized, and addressed efficiently
Qualification
Required
4-6+ years of experience in Information Security, with a focus on application or product security
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Kubernetes orchestration, and automation scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
Adept at threat modeling and capable of identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks in complex systems
Strong foundation in SDLC security ('Shift Left') and secure coding practices
Experience implementing and managing vulnerability management programs and incident response protocols
Self-motivated, an excellent communicator, and capable of collaborating across cross-functional teams
