Responsibilities
Provides support to internal and external customers on site or remotely to analyze reported incidents or requests resulting in a completed request, successful repair, or correction
Develops, maintains, and supports backups and disaster recovery for the systems maintained by Enterprise Platforms
Provides maintenance of security, group policy, and configurations on existing hardware and software through established maintenance procedures
Provides expertise for other Enterprise System Administrators as needed for projects and to address issues
Participates in project planning, analysis, kickoff, and implementation
Develops and maintains proper departmental documentation, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of team documentation
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree Computer sciences
Associate's Degree Information Systems
Bachelor's Degree Computer sciences
Bachelor's Degree Information Systems
7-9 years Server and storage hardware
Ten (10) years of hands experience on server and storage hardware as well as applications/software support
Strong Communication: Exhibits strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Problem Solving: Ability to research, analyzes, and resolves problems effectively to meet established performance metrics
Project Involvement: Proficient in working with other team members, vendors, operational staff on projects and tasks
Device Support: Demonstrated understanding of supporting a large number of devices in a complex and diverse environment
Collaboration: Ability to work closely with other technical resources to analyze, maintain, and administer enterprise systems and solutions
Systems Security: Demonstrated ability to work successfully in the highly complex computer hardware and software environment to address risks, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations
Independent Judgment: Advanced ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment regularly to resolve problems
May require on-call availability and may require working during non-business hours and on weekends
Must provide own transportation
The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading
