Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other invasive procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist
Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage
Qualification
Required
Nurse Practitioner License
DEA License
6 months of experience in long-term care
Reliable transportation
Must be willing to travel to different nursing homes within the state of New York (100% commitment)
