School Psychologist
Bold Charter School is a growing educational institution committed to ensuring a joyful and rigorous learning environment for all students. The School Psychologist will be responsible for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional success through evaluations, counseling, and collaboration with families and school teams.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Building strong relationships with students and their families to support academic, social, and emotional success
Conducting psycho-educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic achievement testing, and any additional evaluations needed for a thorough and accurate representation of students
Providing counseling services in accordance with Individualized Education Programs
Creating, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans and additional behavioral supports as needed
Supporting with crisis management, as needed
Actively participating in the school-based support team to ensure student progress through the appropriate supports and interventions
Qualification
Required
Hold a Bachelor's degree with an outstanding record of achievement
Hold a valid NYS School Psychologist certification
Be passionate about learning
Be a person of high moral character
Demonstrate a strong commitment to and alignment with the mission, beliefs, and values of Bold
Hold an unwavering belief in the potential that all students can learn paired with an unshakeable conviction to ensure all students will learn
Have leadership experience with quantifiable results of success, outperforming peers in parallel fields and markets
Have the ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where responsibility for student success is shared and owned by everyone
Hold a commitment to solutions-based problem solving and previous experience of such
Have background in crisis management and counseling
