Responsibilities
Identify and analyze news/events/information that will have an impact on our trading group(s) and report pertinent information
Support traders by being the sole point of contact for conducting research and following all global macro events that could impact the price of certain securities
Collaborate and work directly with small trading groups on analyzing data for patterns as well as developing new ideas/tools
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
4+ years of relevant work experience in a Research Analyst Role
A demonstrable passion for the financial markets as well as for problem solving and pattern recognition
Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a time-sensitive, fast-paced, collaborative, and collegial environment
A strong quantitative, analytical and research-oriented skill set
Familiarity with Bloomberg and/or Reuters
Preferred
Programming skills in Python will get you bonus points!
