Cardiovascular Technologist

Responsibilities
Provides care to all service lines and patient populations at Emanuel and Randall Children’s Hospitals in the Emanuel Catheterization Laboratory
Performs primary and secondary roles (scrub assistant and monitor) during procedures in the Emanuel Catheterization Laboratory in accordance with physician orders
Acts as super user in the scrub assistant and monitor roles. (CV Tech III)
Precept scrub and monitor orientees (cardiovascular technologists, angiography technologists, electrophysiology technologists, nurses). (CV Tech III)
Qualification
Required
One-year previous experience in the field of Invasive Cardiovascular procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization/Angiography Lab is required. (CV Tech II)
Two years previous experience in the field of Invasive Cardiovascular procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization/Angiography Lab is required. (CV Tech III)
Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Cath Lab equipment
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory
Registration in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology required. (CV Tech III)
BLS for Provider from the American Heart Association required
ACLS from the American Heart Association required
Preferred
Registration in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology preferred. (CV Tech II)

Relocation: This position is eligible for relocation assistance for those moving from outside the area
Shift Differential: evening - $2.50 /hr, night - $4.30 /hr, weekend - $3.00 /hr
Standby Pay: $15 /hr
