Sales Engineer
Weiss-Aug is a leading provider of advanced manufacturing and engineering solutions, specializing in high-volume metal stamping and other industries. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling Weiss-Aug products and services, driving new business opportunities, and managing key client relationships.
Responsibilities
Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets (industrial, aerospace and defense, medical, and computer electronics)
Solution Selling: Leverage a deep understanding of Diemasters manufacturing capabilities to provide solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients' projects
Market Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough research to identify new market opportunities and understand competitive landscapes, targeting regions and clients for growth
Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities, supporting the sales team with lead development and nurturing efforts
Existing Account Development: Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers’ sourcing groups to win existing production parts and increase production volume
Qualification
Required
A minimum of an associate degree
5 -10 years of experience with metal stampings
Strong networking skills
Strong sales skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends
Organized, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Extensive Travel (+50%) is Expected
Preferred
A bachelor's degree is preferred
Automotive experience is a plus
