Responsibilities
Lead the testing process for rack systems, including hands-on test execution when necessary
Supervise hourly leads responsible for rack testing and rack panel wiring
Demonstrate and apply in-depth knowledge of rack controls and their integration into the testing process
Collaborate with Suwanee Systems Engineering to ensure timely implementation of electrical and mechanical design changes
Supervise assigned production floor lines/cells as needed, ensuring alignment with business objectives and safety standards
Implement Lean manufacturing concepts into production processes
Collect, analyze, and audit data and metrics to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction
Manage production schedules, inventory control, material presentation, and overall quality/safety practices
Work collaboratively in a non-union environment and be available for weekend work when required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering) required
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, testing, or engineering environment, preferably involving electrical and mechanical systems
Proven experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a focus on rack systems and control systems testing
Strong leadership and supervisory skills in a manufacturing or production environment, preferred
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies
