Responsibilities
The Sales Director leads a regional team to achieve sales results, aligning regional strategy with global objectives and market opportunities within the North America Flavor market segments
This role will lead and mentor Account Managers, driving sales growth, fostering customer relationships, and setting clear targets through ongoing training
This role involves analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and collaborating with business development on product launches
The individual in this role will engage key customers to strengthen relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring high customer satisfaction
Prioritize regional sales activities, allocate resources, and make strategic and operational decisions to maximize revenue, profits, manage the budget, and ensure efficient team function in alignment with company strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within the North American Food & Beverage industry and a matrixed organization
Proven ability to manage complex, strategic accounts with strong financial acumen, contract negotiation skills, and cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrated success in leading and motivating diverse sales teams, with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the agility to lead through change and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically, including regular visits to the Princeton office and key customer locations
