Responsibilities

Developing water resource engineering and management studies, including groundwater recharge and water conveyance
Evaluating data on hydrology, groundwater, water quality, and water demand in the context of water supply management
Leading multi-disciplinary project teams for surface water and groundwater field investigations
Reviewing state and federal regulations & permits pertaining to groundwater and surface water
Performing and overseeing detailed hydrologic and hydraulic studies and preparing technical reports
Interacting with client representatives
Task and project-level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments
Supporting construction documents, including engineering drawings and technical specifications
Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring; and
Help broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, natural resources science, environmental science or a closely related field
At least 7 years (8+ years preferred) of experience in civil engineering or working in an environmental consulting environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel

Preferred

Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering, natural resources science, environmental science or a closely related field
Professional registration (i.e., P.E., P.G. CPESC, CPSWG)
An outstanding track record in client management and technical leadership
Project experience involving water resources, SGMA, groundwater recharge, or water conveyance
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience with grant writing
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers
