Enigma Search is a well-funded Biotech company seeking a dynamic Project Team Leader (PTL) to guide drug discovery programs. The PTL will oversee project progress from candidate nomination through clinical development, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery aligned with corporate goals.

Responsibilities

Lead and strategize for the cross-functional project teams targeting molecule development

Present strategies to biotech's Drug Development Review Committee (DDRC) for endorsement and funding

Make timely decisions based on scientific data, competitive landscape, and risk mitigation

Advocate for the program and keep senior leadership informed

Ensure integration of stakeholder opinions, including external partners in big pharma

Maintain project performance and responsible resource stewardship

Support smooth transition to leadership partners post-clinical proof-of-concept

Qualification

PhD in life sciences10+ years drug developmentClinical development experienceNeuroscience expertiseRare diseases experienceCross-functional leadershipStakeholder engagementProject management

Required

PhD in life sciences or MD/PharmD, with 10+ years in biotech/pharma drug development

Extensive experience in early-to-mid-stage clinical development, ideally in neuroscience or rare diseases

Proven track record leading projects from pre-IND through clinical stages

At least 10 years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience in drug development, preferably in early-mid stage clinical drug development through initial registration

Successful track record of leading projects/program teams in a cross-functional team environment from pre-IND-enabling activities through mid-stage clinical development (ideally through NDA filing)
