$150K/yr - $245K/yrOrchard Robotics is a Series A startup focused on securing America’s food supply through AI technology. The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining their FruitScope OS, creating solutions that help farmers manage their crops effectively.

Responsibilities
Build new features in our web platform to help farmers better understand their data
Develop for our backend, frontend, UI/UX, and database
Ship scalable software that analyzes the hundreds of millions of fruit in an farm
Wrangle large amounts of fruit data (on the scale of billions)
Iterate quickly on customer feedback
Maintain and develop our cloud infrastructure
Optimize systems to be fast (i.e. query and calculate statistics for millions of fruit at a time)
Qualification
Required
Comfortable working with cloud (Google Cloud), React frontend, Python/Flask backend, and databases (postgreSQL)
Hands on experience building production-quality web apps at scale
Hard worker with relentless persistence
Aren't afraid of moving fast, learning what you don't know, and are comfortable with a lot of autonomy
Comfortable working on all parts of the stack
Preferred
Prior experience building web apps around very large amounts of data
Experience building bespoke RESTful APIs
Experience with GIS data and systems
Experience with data security and permissions management
