Travel Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

The Travel Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders while working closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role involves regular travel to multiple nursing homes to deliver on-site care and maintain a flexible schedule to optimize patient coverage.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care
Assessing and treating patients with endocrinology diseases and conditions
Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage

Nurse Practitioner licensePhysician Assistant licenseDEA LicenseDegree in NursingEndocrinology experienceCPR BCLS/BLS certificationEMR documentationOrganizational skillsTime management skills

Required

Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
DEA License
CPR BCLS/BLS certified
Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
A year of experience in Endocrinology
Must have great organizational and time management skills
Reliable transportation
Must be willing to travel to different nursing homes within the state of Massachusetts (100% commitment)

Preferred

Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
