InternSheppard Pratt is offering an internship opportunity for students pursuing a BSW in Social Work. This internship will allow students to work with diverse patient populations while developing essential professional and interpersonal skills under the supervision of a licensed social worker.

Responsibilities
Report to the unit 2 days a week
Serve a variety of patient populations on either our child& adolescent or adult service lines and day programs
Complete a comprehensive psychosocial assessment
Communicate with patient’s family/guardian
Communicate with internal and external treatment team members
Assist with Discharge Planning
Conduct clinical groups 1-2 times a week
Readiness to learn from all experiences
Demonstrate patience and compassion when working with those with mental illnesses
Qualification
Required
