Responsibilities

Analyzes applicant information to determine whether the customer qualifies for a beneficial loan program

Assists customers in discussing financial objectives and goals and takes the initial loan application

Clearly communicates the loan program terms and benefits available to the customer as well as the loan process

Ensures all required documents are returned and disclosures are signed in a timely manner

Follows our sales process and QA requirements to remain compliant

Continually meets and/or exceeds the Sales KPI’s set by Management

Is responsive to customers’ needs and expectations

Has excellent communication skills and is clear, concise, and professional when speaking with customers

Is eager to develop knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines

Has strong knowledge of mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines

Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures

Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma required

At least one (1) year of mortgage sales experience

NMLS/SAFE, at least 1 active license or at a minimum, the ability to be licensed without having to retake the SAFE exam

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and workplace policies

Ability to analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures, and governmental regulations

Ability to write professional correspondences

Ability to write routine business reports

Ability to speak effectively with other employees and/or customers

Ability to present formal information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees

Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, managers, employees, customers and/or the public

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions
