Responsibilities
Perform building envelope and heat load analysis
Select and specify mechanical equipment for various project types
Design air distribution and hydronic piping systems
Develop and review building automation system sequences of operation (SOO) for both central plant and airside systems
Assist with conceptual HVAC estimating and system cost evaluation
Provide quality control and commissioning oversight for active construction projects
Collaborate with design, project management, and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited U.S. program
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas
Proven and meaningful experience in HVAC applied system design
Strong technical understanding of mechanical system design and controls
Demonstrated record of stable and successful employment history
