Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Configuration Management Plan (CMP)
Define and implement procedures for configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits
Ensure all configuration items (CIs) are properly identified, versioned, and documented
Maintain the integrity and traceability of configuration throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct regular configuration audits to verify compliance with CM policies and standards
Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases across multiple environments (development, testing, staging, production)
Ensure that builds are properly versioned, tested, and documented before deployment
Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to manage release pipelines and deployment strategies
Monitor and report on release progress, issues, and outcomes
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of CM tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and deliver technical solutions independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Bachelor's degree
At least 3 years of experience and with configuration control experience
Clearance: Public Trust
Citizenship: US Citizen by birth or naturalization
