Blackmore Partners Inc is partnering with private equity investors to build a growth-stage Home Improvement platform. They are seeking a CEO to define the vision, execute a value creation plan, and build a scalable operation for consistent revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of operations with full P&L ownership (marketing, sales, talent, supplier relationships, customer experience)
Build scalable infrastructure: systems, reporting, and financial controls
Standardize processes with internal playbooks across sales and operations
Drive expansion via organic growth, acquisitions, and integrations
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team
Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability
Serve as the primary liaison with PE sponsors and the board
Prepare the company for a successful 5–7 year exit strategy (strategic sale or recap)

Required

10+ years in Home Improvement (installation, repair, or remodeling—not manufacturing)
Proven executive-level leadership (CEO, President, GM, COO, EVP)
Track record of revenue and EBITDA growth
Strong sales and marketing expertise in Home Improvement
Hands-on operator who thrives in high-growth environments
Experience professionalizing a growing business and scaling teams
CEO role requires in-office presence at least 4 days/week; board roles are hybrid/remote

Preferred

C-suite or senior executive experience with industry leaders
Background in finance or exposure to PE deal structures
M&A, integration, or greenfield expansion experience
Market relationships and presence in the Southeast U.S

Benefits

Total Compensation: $400K–$500K with performance bonus
Equity: 5–6% common equity
