Director/ExecutiveAI Fund is a VC firm made up of AI pioneers, operators, entrepreneurs, and investors. Haven is transforming the environmental, health, and safety market through AI-driven incident investigation and prevention, and as the CTO, you will develop the technology strategy and lead the building of prototypes and MVP solutions.

Responsibilities
Lead development of Haven’s AI-powered safety co-pilot from prototype through MVP and beyond
Architect a system capable of multimodal data processing—including documents, voice, images, and video—to build a proprietary dataset that improves with every incident
Build and manage a high-caliber team of engineers and data scientists to deliver time-sensitive milestones
Drive integrations with partner platforms and APIs to accelerate adoption and create ecosystem value
Evaluate and implement foundational AI tools (e.g., Claude, GPT-4, AWS Bedrock) to support Haven’s evolving use cases
Architect and lead the build of an enterprise-grade, SOC-2 compliant product
Qualification
Required
Entrepreneurial Track Record: Prior experience as a founder or early-stage technical leader at a VC-backed B2B or enterprise applications startup
0→1 Execution: Proven success building and shipping software products from scratch
Full Stack Fluency: Strong grounding in front-end and back-end development; comfortable navigating architecture, devops, and infrastructure decisions
AI/ML Proficiency: Deep familiarity with ML pipelines, LLMs, vector databases, agentic workflows, and AI integration workflows. Hands-on experience a requirement
Systems Thinking: Experience designing for scale, API integration, and performance in enterprise settings
Data Management: Comfortable designing secure, accessible, and auditable data pipelines across structured and unstructured inputs
Customer Focus: Comfortable engaging with enterprise clients, translating user pain points into technical priorities
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to inspire, recruit, and grow engineering talent
Preferred
Fundraising Exposure: Direct participation in capital raising as a technical executive is a strong plus
