Landscape Architect
Garver is an employee-owned engineering, planning, and environmental services firm seeking a Landscape Architect to join their growing Federal Team in Northwest Arkansas. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for the design of various planning and landscape architecture projects, working with a multi-disciplined team and diverse clients, while also assisting in project management and business development activities.

Responsibilities
Design of planning, urban design, and landscape architecture projects across all Garver business lines throughout the country
Project types include site planning, bike/pedestrian trails, park and recreation facilities, site landscape & irrigation, and streetscape projects
Assist with all aspects of project deliverables including drawings, presentation graphics, cost estimates, specifications, technical reports, and narratives
Assist with business development activities
Perform public engagement duties
On-site construction observation duties when necessary
Construction administration and submittal reviews for projects under construction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program
Licensed landscape architect with 5 to 15 years professional experience (or the ability to become registered as a Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) upon meeting state and CLARB eligibility requirements)
Strong communicator
Detail-oriented and a team player with strong self-initiative to meet deadlines
Strong graphic (hand-drawn and digital) Please provide a copy of your portfolio indicating graphic skills and project experience
Previous experience working with design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and LandFX, as well as SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Revit, Enscape and Rhino is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Limited travel may be required (3 to 4 times per year with occasional overnight)
Preferred
Previous landscape architecture experience in a multidisciplinary environment
Previous experience with Lumion rendering software
Previous site development experience
Previous government (local, state, Federal) project experience
