Commercial Portfolio Manager Supervisor
Security Service Federal Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager Supervisor to oversee the commercial portfolio management team and enhance performance and efficiencies. This role involves coaching employees, reviewing documentation for compliance, and making recommendations to upper management regarding portfolio management activities.

Responsibilities
Supervising the commercial portfolio management personnel and activities
Scheduling, prioritizing, and distributing workflow
Coaching, training, and counseling employees to ensure accuracy in portfolio management activities
Completing, reviewing, and approving covenant tests and periodic reviews
Supporting management with annual loan reviews and providing feedback to portfolio managers
Making recommendations on financial reporting, covenant testing requirements, and risk rating changes
Reviewing forbearances/modifications and related documentation for compliance
Ensuring policies, procedures, practices, regulations, and documentation requirements are followed
Assisting with special projects as needed
Completing any other job-related duties to help drive to the organization's vision and values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience
A minimum of five (5) years of commercial portfolio management or eight (8) years of commercial credit underwriting or comparable combination of portfolio management, underwriting, and loan administration experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience with commercial loans and underwriting may meet qualifications
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, plus a good understanding of the Internet environment
Excellent planning and time management skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written, and presentational skills
Able to work with all levels of management
Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to meet and manage critical deadlines and assist with project management
Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-volume environment
Take initiative and make independent decisions in the best interest of the Credit Union and Member
Preferred
Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, credit policy, loan documentation and administration requirements and legal and regulatory guidelines
Able to interpret credit union and regulatory policy and guidelines to prevent issues and errors
Analyze and interpret complex documents, to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
The ability to empathize and effectively respond to sensitive issues or complaints mitigating potential escalation utilizing independent judgement and initiative in developing appropriate solutions to problems
Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, state and NCUA regulations as well as commercial loan documentation experience or equivalent experience in a financial industry
Professional appearance, demonstration of poise and tact and a pleasant courteous personality
